Miyan Kuka

Ingredients
- 500 g beef or goat meat
- 1 cup kuka powder
- 2 tablespoons ground crayfish
- 200 g stockfish, soaked
- 150 g dried or smoked fish
- 1 medium onion
- 2 tablespoons palm oil, optional
- 1 teaspoon seasoning powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 4 cups meat stock
- 1 teaspoon ground pepper
How to make it
- Cook the meat and stockfish until tender.
- Clean and debone the dried or smoked fish.
- Sift the kuka powder to remove coarse particles.
- Bring the meat stock to a gentle boil.
- Add onion, pepper, crayfish, seasoning and salt.
- Add the cooked meat, stockfish and dried fish.
- Gradually sprinkle in kuka powder while stirring continuously.
- Simmer for 8 to 12 minutes until the soup thickens and the raw kuka flavour reduces.
- Add palm oil if using and simmer for another 3 minutes.
- Taste and adjust seasoning.
